Privacy policy for all ComelyLabs applications

This Privacy Policy applies to ComelyLabs and the apps and services we publish, unless a product shows a separate privacy notice. Not every data category described below applies to every app, and app-specific disclosures may be added when a feature requires them.

No sale of personal data

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only when needed to operate the service or comply with law.

Information We Collect

Depending on the app and the features you use, we may collect the following categories of information:

Account and authentication data

Email address, display name, user ID, login provider, authentication timestamps, and guest mode identifiers.

User-generated content

Tasks, routines, categories, notes, schedules, time tracking records, learning progress, saved preferences, and app settings.

Device and technical data

Device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, usage statistics, local identifiers, and subscription status.

Permissions-based data

Notification permissions and local export files when a feature requires them and you grant access.

We do not intentionally collect government-issued identifiers, full payment card numbers, or sensitive personal health data.

  • Provide core app functionality and maintain your account.
  • Authenticate users and support sign-in methods you choose to use.
  • Sync content and progress across devices when cloud features are enabled.
  • Store preferences, settings, and user progress.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Provide subscription-based access and validate entitlement status.
  • Create or export files that you ask the service to generate.
  • Protect the service, investigate abuse, and maintain security.
  • Diagnose crashes, errors, and operational problems.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Local Storage

Some information may be stored locally on your device using technologies such as SQLite, shared preferences, secure local storage, or cached authentication state. Local storage helps provide faster performance, offline access, and a more stable user experience.

Cloud Services and Service Providers

We may rely on third-party providers that process information on our behalf or as independent providers of authentication, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, or billing services.

Google Firebase

May be used for authentication, database hosting, analytics, and crash reporting depending on the app.

Apple Sign In and Google Sign-In

May be used to authenticate your account when those sign-in options are offered.

Kakao Login

May be used for account authentication in supported apps.

Apple App Store and Google Play

Process in-app purchases and subscription billing. Their handling of payment information is governed by their own policies.

Service providers may process data in multiple countries under their own infrastructure and privacy terms.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We may share limited information only when reasonably necessary with:

  • Authentication providers that you use to sign in.
  • Cloud infrastructure, analytics, and crash reporting providers used to operate the service.
  • Platform billing providers to confirm subscription status.
  • Legal authorities or other parties when required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain your account, provide service features, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may differ by app, feature, system logs, or platform requirements. If you delete an app without deleting your account, some cloud data may remain until you submit an account deletion request or the account becomes inactive under the rules of the relevant service.

Account and Data Deletion

You may request account deletion through in-app settings where available or by contacting us at the email address below.

A deletion request may include removal of:

  • Your account profile and identifiers associated with the service.
  • Synced cloud content and related records linked to that account.
  • Associated settings or preference records that are no longer required for legal or operational reasons.
We may ask for reasonable verification before completing a deletion request to protect against unauthorized removal.

Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we maintain about you. You may also:

  • Use guest mode or avoid optional account features where offered.
  • Disable notifications or other optional permissions in your device settings.
  • Delete local app data by uninstalling the app, subject to your device behavior.
  • Manage subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intentionally directed to children below the age of digital consent under applicable law unless a product explicitly states otherwise and includes the required compliance measures. If we learn that personal data was collected from a child without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete it.

Security Measures

  • Use industry-standard transport security where applicable.
  • Restrict backend access to authorized personnel and systems.
  • Apply authentication controls and reasonable operational safeguards.
  • Monitor reliability and investigate technical incidents.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Users and Processing

By using our services, you understand that your information may be processed in countries where ComelyLabs or its service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws in your jurisdiction.
